These guys are based off of roblox avatars I made.
They're here to mostly look cool and fill a gap for me creatively. Most of my ideas for them atm are filler and are subject to change at any point. It's all very vague
Solar (the human looking one) is actually a mimic, it's able to perfectly mimic any species but the process isn't instant and involves alot of inner components moving around, which can consist of breaking multiple bones to create more limbs. They have a very low pain tolerence because of this and move in a very uncanny way when they aren't thinking about it. Xtra (the computer) doesn't feel any pain at all since his body is actually just a shell to contain the goop that is his actual body. The stability of his body depends alot on his emotions, if he's feeling too much either negatively or positively his mass drastictly changes and can become unstable.
Essentially, they've been sent to earth to "study" humans and their behaviour but really its to keep them away from anything thats actually important. They've essentially been left to do whatever they want and that's just what they do.
For backstory, the idea so far is that they both are the their only type of alien left and were taken in by this overarching alien government to keep them safe and use them for work. This doesnt suit either of them and during their teen years meet eachother and are allowed to work together, which works for everyone since they're more likely to get stuff done together than not. By the time they're full fledged adults and have been doing this for a long time, everyone is fed up with the arrangement.
They eventually decide they quite like it on earth and decide to stay there, being general nuisances to the public.
Another half-baked idea I had was their actual identities getting out to the government because they don't really care to keep it secret and them being tracked down. It's moslty just an idea so I could play around with the way they moved being "unnatural" and "uncanny" since they aren't actually human and I think some kind of fighting would be the best way to show that.
Keep in mind the kind of environment I imagined these guys to be in was through roblox games, so they would be interacting with others roblox avatars and not actual human people.
