About
Her full name is Bryony Hart and she is my oldest OC. I made her when I was around 11 or 12 I think??? I'd have to double check that.
She started as the prompt "A knight and a leer" from one of those 'art prompt generator' things. I, however, got the words leer and seer mixed up and drew Bryony along side someone who can see in the future. I had liked the initial sketch so much that I started a whole fantasy prompt around them, with Bryony breaking the seer out of jail, rescuing her, then having a massive battle with the kingdom that had kidnapped her. That whole story is abandoned and all the characters I made for it have long since been shelved, except for Bryony.
I've tried for a very long time to think of something up for her but I'm not the most creative person so it's been a struggle. Despite the lack of a backstory, she prevails against the odds and I think thats fitting. Many have prayed on her downfall but they are fools!!!
I do really love her and I refuse to shelf her. I recently revamped her to suit my current interests and I am now much more invested in her so expect more art :))
Bio
She's a washed up programmer who is trying to move on from her previous relationship.
Her work bring her onto a new project to develop a form of sentient AI. As bryony works on this, she accidently creates a channel for an eldritch being to converse through. Bryony initially believes she's succeeded and reports her findings to her superiors until she finds out the truth. She keeps her discovery underwraps and continues to talk to E.A.D as she's been calling her.
Eventually, E.A.D gets access to some heavily guarded files in an attempt to learn more about Bryony and the company does not like that. They order Bryony to shut her down which she does reluctantly. E.A.D begs her not to but Bryony chooses her work over her.
Unbeknownst to both of them, E.A.D somehow manages to transfer her conscienous into Bryony's head in an emotional outburst. Bryony goes home with a headache and then wakes up feeling like she's dying. Her mind can't handle the full scope of E.A.D's being so E.A.D has to cram herself into Bryony's head.
Both are unhappy with this prediciment so Bryony sets out to find a way to transfer E.A.D out of her head in anyway ahe can but E.A.D herself is making that difficult since she wants a working body, a way to experience the world like bryony does. Thus they are at a stalemate until they can come to a compromise.
Eventually E.A.D will realise that what she wants isn't possible and Bryony will grow hesitant at getting rid of her. They begin to actually work together to make the situation more bearable.
